It is with the greatest of excitement that we publicize that we have raised all the funds needed for Gillian’s seizure support dog and our two week trip to Xenia, Ohio for intensive training with the dog. We would like to thank The Sandman Harvest Foundation for there contribution of $15 000 for the training of the dog and the other generous sponsors that helped us raise the rest of the money for the trip.
Most of all we want to thank all the public that saw our campaign around town and contributed and those anonymous good Samaritans that deposited donations directly into Gillian’s trust account. It has been overwhelming the generosity our community has shown us. Any funds left over after the trip will be held in trust for therapeutic equipment that Gillian needs in the future.
We are blessed to live in such a giving, supportive community. We are very grateful to live in a community that meets Gillian’s many needs time and time again. I always had faith that we would raise the money for the trip but never imagined it would be this quick.
Now we are booked for June to go to Ohio and meet our newest member of our family.
We won’t know which dog we are getting up until about two weeks before the trip so we are all anxiously awaiting the day we get to see his/her picture for the first time.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! It is really going to happen and it is because of all of you that support us.
As of March 9th 2009 we have raised:
